I have a 2002 camaro 3.8 V6 and I want a exhaust that has a loud deep sound what exhaust should I get I was thankin flowmasters or magnaflows?

 

im runnin a flowmaster and high flow cat.....it sounds nice i think

 

I have a 97 v6 3.8 and I got flowmaster.. I was very dissapointed to be honest... It has a nice sound, but I wanted it to be louder... Its pretty quiet... I would recommend Borla. Its more expensive, but I think its sounds really good.

 

yeah my flowmaster isnt as loud as id like either but i have a 2.8 v6 so i dont think its gonna matter a whole lot, still not gonna be as loud as a v8

 

If you just want loud noise, try a Thrush glass packed muffler. The cops will love you, and bring ear plugs if you going on a long drive.

 

Kidding aside. I helped my son put 2 Hooker mufflers on his 3400 Grand Prix (3.4), and the thing sounds almost like a V8, up to about 4000 RPM anyway, after that the 6 cyl rap comes through. Using a single 3" plumbing all the way back to a 3" Y and two 3" mufflers. It is loud enough to set off car alarms as it goes by.

 

lmao i ran a single glasspack without a cat for a while, its deffinetly loud....2hr drives to my dad's house wouldve been a headache if it werent for my subs drowning it out
