v6 to gen1 v8
#11
That's what I was wondering because I already have a fresh 350 block that needs put together but if there's going to be alot of other stuff involved I don't know if it'll be worth it, and the v6 specs hp are around 200 witch isn't to bad

That's why I said dual plane intake manifold. A short mani would minimize the cutting needed, but the distributor being on the back is just a pain. I don't even think you could use a carbed 350 without a cowl hood, which is ~$500 raw

yeah I just spent 250 on getting a new stock hood and having it painted so I don't think I want to do that but I thank everyone for the advice, does anyone know if the supercharged 3800's will work say out of a gtp or a Bonneville

The supercharger will not fit as it is, since the intake would be in the firewall. I have seen the S/C modified to fit, but it was very time consuming and difficult. You basically have to machine the back of it off and fabricate an elbow out of aluminum. The engine itself has lower compression pistons, and the heads are different since the injector bosses are in the head, rather than the manifold.
long story short, stick with an N/A engine.

Exhaust and intake are obviously the best places to start. After that, I would say go for either an NA stage 1 intense racing cam, or an NA abbott heads cam. That'll add some fun to it.
