Default Upgrade or trade-in?

Hey guys, i currently have a 2001 3.8 with a 5 speed manual. I was thinking along the lines of upgrading to a Flowmaster or Magnaflow exhuast system, from what ive read its pretty much all personal preference, i just want some sound and performance. No honda civic with a fart can thingy on it though. Also a SLP or K&N cold air induction kit. Would those two combined or anything else get some decent performance out of my Camaro? Either that or my other option is i was thinking of trading it for an 84' Z28 with a 5 speed with a 350 block swapped in for the original 305 that puts out 375 h.p. and 370 foot pounds of torque. T-tops and power windows/locks and 85k miles. The place wants almost 6K for it but i know its not worth that so my question would be if this was the route i took would mine be worth enough to trade? 2001 3.8L 5 speed, bone stock, manual windows and door locks, 88k well maintained and pretty new tires. And i live in Illinois so i know whichever way i go winter will be a fun time. Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated.

Sell Yours outright. You can pick up 4th Gen Z28 for Six Grand.
