Anyone ever known/heard of running true dual 2.5" exhaust to glass pack with no cats on a 3.8? Trying to get somethin unique and deep sounding and plus it just sounds like a mean idea. What are your thoughts?

Sound like crap. Catless sixbangers always sound like crap; high pitched, raspy, obnoxious. Add in the fact that glasspacks eliminate no rasp and are also not mellow in sound and that v6 would sound like trash. If you want to go duals, run high flow cats, Borla mufflers or Magnaflow mufflers. Be prepared for the cost of duals though, the car was not made from the factory with duals in mind.

 

No way cats are ever goin under a vehicle I own and only reason I was thinkin glasspacks is that you could easily fit 2 of them...never heard a dual v6 anybody got a good clip?

Why no cats if it will help with sound? They don't rob power like people love to think....

High flows only cost around $70-80 and you can bring your old, stock cat to a scrap yard and get most of that money back.

 

Don't have stock cat...what bout just a decent size resonator on each pipe....heard those can reduce some of the rasp.
