Fuel pump most likely -- get the fuel system pressure tested.

Probably not related, but also check your PCV valve, everyone seems to forget it, and it's simple to clean with some gasoline or cheap to replace...

Now the PCV valve I have been looking all over for instruction on location and how to replace and I can't find that anywhere for some odd reason. (Maybe not a popular part to replace?) If you have any info on that for my engine, let me know. Thank you.

Yes of course the 3.4L does have a PCV -- you should know BasicConcepts, you had one! Guess you never checked yours... Doh!

I would also recommend a few tanks of a good fuel system cleaner in the gas tank like Lucas'.

Hmmmm....engine running crappy, PCV valve removed, and who knows if the vacuum source was plugged. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

the pcv valve is located on the drivers side of the motor towards the back end of the valve cover. you have to feel for it. its hard to see because the purge valve is right in front of it. run some test on the fuel system first. could be as simple as replacing the FPR.
