Hello my name is moe I have a 94 camaro and i just had the motor replaced and now i am haveing trany issues the speedo quit working and it wont send signal on when to shift i had a mechanic put it on the computer who said the speed control sencor was bad i replaced it and is still doing the same thing if you have any suggestions can you please e mail me at moewaz2000@yahoo.com its my only means of transportation and i really need to get my baby back on the road and by no means am i a mechanic so any help would be greatful thank you

 

when you remove the speed sensor is it gear driven or is there a reluctor on the other side of the speed sensor. either way you need to make sure they spin when the shaft moves. may be slipping on the shaft or broken and not there anymore.

 

there was a little medal split looking clip on the sencor itself ifirst put it in and then put the car into gear it was windeing so i pulled the sencor out aligned the clip reinstalled it the windeing went away when u put it in gear but the speedo still doesnt work
