i needto drop teh tranny out of my car... its a 3.8 , 99..... how bigof a job am i looking at ? considering i cant even change all my own spark plug wires cuz of how the engine sits

well...if you cant change your spark plugs then replacing a transmission yourself is out of the question for you

I've removed a transmission from a 80's delta 88 and it wasn't hard to remove, but then again I didn't reinstall one either

i need to replace my clutch and on the 99-02 v6's... the engine sits under teh dash... so its kind of hard to replace plug wires, i can do it. its just a ***** and a half

Once you remove the rear crossmember the whole engine & tranny assembly will tilt back & everything becomes reachable. In order to get the tranny out the car will have to sit way up in the air (dangerous) or up on a lift. Get a good service manuals, as mostthings work better if done in the proper sequence.

thank you, i have it parked in a garage.. i think i could get it up like 3 ft on stands... =/
