Wink Themostat problem

Hi, I am new too the forum and hoping some member can help me with a Themostat problem on my 2001 Camaro with a 3.8L K vin. I installed new water pump (Bosch and not a reman but new),Acdelco upper and lower hoses,Jet stat 180F (part# 10115) with a ACdelco gasket. The car has 100,000miles and I just got it off my sister. Car had 3 owners before me. Her husband put green antifreeze by mistake which eat at the water pump gasket and leaked, so That is why I did all this work. I flushed the system out and put Dexcool 50/50 in it. (bleed system of air) The upper hose still has pressure at 210F with a 180F stat from Jet. The pressure builds up in the upper hose at 174F and never goes down from there. (no fan on at 174F). Should the pressure be out of the hose at 180F or so because the stat opens at 180F right? Why non-stop pressure in the upper hose up too 211F! Reading temp from PCM with Mac tools scanner. Is this normal for a 3.8L camaro?

Waiting on fan too come on too at 210F. let you know.

UPDATE
221F still upper hose has pressure. NO Fans on so I turn around 1 and 2 fan relays around a both fans came on. Temp going down. Temp now back up too 221F and now fans come on again. 221F is really high for fans too come on? Still pressure in upper hose and feel no water moving around in the upper hose. I don't think the stat is opening and but why fans on at 221F? I am lost on this one. Car is not overheating. My gauge on the dash said 211F all the time but Mac scanner said 221F.

I dont know much about the 3.8's, but I figure you will get more help if this were in the tech section.

Thanks Scooch, But I found the answer. I called GM,GM dealer and a shop in Town that I trust. They all said The 2001 3.8L Camaro has a non-bypass valve on the stat so the Jet stat is right. The Fans turn on at 221F to 223F. Idle temp is 221F then Fans go on and drops too 206F to 210F. the car driving temp is 179F to 205F. The temp gauge is right and wrong on the dash, It reads right at first then when it gets too 150F on the Gauge it becomes off then the gauge hits 210F the gauge is right again. But the Gauge will never show 221F. I think they do this not too scare people. So the only way too fix this high Temp if you want too, is too by a power programmer and reset the fans too a 180 stat so fans turn on at 209F to 213F then the stock setting of fans on at 221F. programmers Hypertech,(Jet does not have one too adjust the fans),DiabloSport Predator,Banks ETC.... Hope this helps others becuase there is not much info on this that I found anyway online.
