i saw a article once about how they got i think it was 350HP NA power out of a 3.8(without stroking, just cams and etc, stock rods and crank), and nothing broke, they then boosted it and got it to around 800 without internals breaking. i think they were pushing like 28PSI into it. but that was the engine's limit.
dunno how true the article was, but it was on v6throttle forums or w/e the site is called.

Why are you guys so jealous. Like I have done this with what you guys post and they told me that exhaust is the quickest way to make a car go faster. Then someone told me to stroke the engine so I did and then I also read that slicks help a lot for take off since you get to step more on the gas before the I take off. So yeah then this guy at the san Antonio raceways told me that he does tune ups. So I took it to him. In his stock camaro he ran 12s so. Thought it couldn't be a bad idea. So yeah I might know all the details like many of you but that doesn't beat the fact that my car can keep up to yours or actually beat you.

wow you have got to be kidding me. first of all the 1969 Dodge Chargers NEVER had a 400cu in engine. Standard engine for 1969 was the 318 cu in V8making 230 horsepower. Two optional 383s were offeredmaking 290 and 330 horsepower. In the Charger R/T the 440 Magnum, 375 HPwas standard and the 426 making425 HP Hemi was optional.
