Hey guys this is my first post on here but I was just needing some opinions........ I just bought used tail lights (factory ones-overall great condition) but the passenger side (where the turn and tail lights are) have condensation in them... i took them out to see if any water actually drained out of them, and no water did... is that something i should worry about electrical-wise if there's condensation?? the driver side is fine.... and i think what the problem is is that there's a little space in between the actual body of the car and the top of the tail light (if you look real close you can see in and see the wires)..... but the driver side doesnt have that little space... just wondering if i should be concerned about future wiring problems or if there's an easy way to get rid of the condensation.... any replies would be appreciated! thanks!

 

Were all the foam seals intact and fitting tight?

 

I tried to reply back but i dont know if it worked or not cause it didnt show up on here..... but all the fitting and foam seals look fine.... dont know......

 

Well maybe you can pull the tail light off and fill it with water and watch it for a leak. Maybe when you got them it had a bit of moisture. Sometimes the lenses are snapped onto the back half of the tail light with some sealnt in between. Maybe the sealant is not sealing anymore.

 

well i got out the hair dryer and dried out the tail lights and went and got some sealant stuff, so hopefully that'll work.... could always be worse, right? thanks for your responses!
