alright thanx everyone ya i juz have this v6 until i save enough to trade it in for a ss or z28
but being that im only 17 it might take awile i have a bud that sell me a ram air hood for real cheap is it worth it

 

not really, I dont and havent plannd on getting a ram air hood. it doesnt help too much on a v8 with the kit and it defintely wont help on a v6. Well the price will only get lower on v8s if your patient. always stay motivated and keep an eye out

 

If you do the math you'd need to be doing around 180mph to get a gain of 10 hp. Kind more of a look design.

 

Now if you do supercharge it the ram air hood is perfect as you can put the filter there to get cooler air.

 

Invest in an SLP CAI -- much more worthwhile on your V6.
