Stupid fog lights
#11
Help Please! I am on my 4th - 4th Gen. camaro and it seems whenever my car hits 60k the right fog light goes out along with the right turn signal. Is this unusual? I see other camaros on the road (2000-2002's) with the same problem, that right fog light is always out. How do I change it? I normally sell and by another at this point. lol

Wow you sell your cars for $10 in bulbs? Most people wait till their engine or tranny is about to let go before they sell.
Ok now the bulbs are accesable from either under the car or by removing the headlamp. I prefer the headlamp method since I dont have to worry about jacking the car up or anything like that.
Remove the 5 little plastic clips holding the center of the bumper to the body lift up and pull the bumper cover over the lip of the retainer. Next remove the one 10mm bolt holding the headlamp in place and slide to the inside, and pull out. Now you should have access to the fog light and the parking light. The parking light is a 3157 and I am not sure on the fogs since I have not had to replace mine yet but I think it is a 880 or 881.

It turns out it might be the turn signal that's out, not the fog light. When I turn on the turn signal on the right side, it just stays on (in the car), it doesn't flash. When I turn on all the lights, they all work. But the running lights (that stay on while driving (the right side is out). Very strange. Anyway, it looks like the turn signal might be in the same compartment as the fog light, if so, do I change it the way you mentioned above. I wish there was an easier way - without taking it all apart. (Don't have a garage.)
Love your car w/t-ops. That was my first but it was a 2000, same color miss it. I had the Z28, same color 2002.
