stroking my car
alright so after sometime of saving up and stuff i should be getting my stroker kit from 3800stroked.comin a couple of more paychecks. quite happy but here is my question, I am going to build up my 3800 and turbo it later on but here is my doubt. Willa stroked engineblock be able to handleaturbo? i havent looked into that yet and well i want to know before i move on. my expectations are to get around 400hp and 400tq(with turbo)when all is done is that possible? i know of that one guy that has like 500hp or somethingbut i dont evenwant to know how much he spentim looking to invest around 9k-10k on my carim thinking its a good amountno?
that powerdyne procharger(supercharger) claims it adds 130 horse to a v6 3.8 WITHOUT changing engine internals. that would put you at 330 already with just powerdyne, full exhaust another 15/20. that stroker kit itself should add 50 or so, and it makes it so you engine can handle MORE, not less(better internals) but it does make cylender walls slightly smaller if thats what you mean. i'd be more concerned to what you have for milage. now the T5 manual transmission can only hold at max 350 horse if i remeber correctly, you'd need to beef up your trans. you could also stick some 3.73 posi gears on it so it snaps alot faster(but u mite want alluminum driveshaft)
u can aslo buy a universal intercooler and stick it on procharger to get another 15 or so horse

so you think i would be better off getting the powerdyne supercharger instead of a turbo? and yes it was the walls of the cylinders that worried me, Car has 80k miles and ever since ive got it (at 50k) ive been doing the oil change and maintenance when its due. thank you for the reply =)
