When does it happen. Like do you have have the clutch in, out.. Are you under accelerating?

Did you have this vibration before, on a small scale?

Hmm. That's interesting. I'm thinking it's a possible tranny issue. Is it a new tranny?

yeah its got like 80000 miles on it. but i can feel it coming from the back end of the car. could it be that the rear end of the car is the origional and the tranny and the driveshaft are new?

Sounds to me like your drive line angles are messed up. Are you sure you got the right combination of tranny mount and cross member in there? The V6 and V8 have different setups so if you use a V8 crossmember you need the V8 mount and same with the V6. Also you can check the phasing of the driveshaft. You want to be sure there is no twist in the driveshaft. Both of these conditions will cause a vibration that feels like a rear issue. You should also feel it in the shifter a bit.

BTW: what did you have to do to get the OBD 2 system to work?
