Default SS sway bars

So what's a good price for swaybars off a SS. It's got about 86 000 km on it so that's about 60k miles. The guy wants $400 for both but I'm thinking of trying $400 for those plus the damaged diff just for the gears and limited slip and hopefully the drive shaft. What would you pay for all that? What else would I need for the swaybars? Would I need the ss bushings or would the stock v6 ones work?

Links would work but you would have to go with new bushings. Why would anyone pay $400 for used sway bars? You can still get new GM ones for like $100. A word of warning. I have read that if you use this rear sway bar you need to have the springs and shocks to support it. If you do not it will make the car loose. The front is good with or without the SS springs.

I'd order that sway bar but it's USA only for shipping. I'm in Canada. Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll drop by the gm dealer and see what they charge for pricing or see if that guy will ship to Canada. I'll try to get that diff for cheap tho. Even tho it's damaged the gears are good and will fit right into my rear end. I mainly want the limited slip. Don't car to much about disk brakes. For the rear end will it Change much if I got the ss or z28 springs and shocks?

For less than $370, you could get new 35/22 hollow Strano bars and have some of the best available -- NO WAY SS bars are worth $400!

All 4th Gen De Carbon/Delphi shocks are poor choices. Go with SLP Bilsteins or Konis -- replace all four.

If the car is not sagging, chances are you don't need new springs.

Springs will be to lower the car. Front shocks are starting to go. I'll look into those shocks. I won't get those swaybars unless I can get them for $50 each since you've all proven that they are worth more then that. Thanks guys for the info and input.

A 23mm rear bar is too much, unless the car's use is drag -- 22mm is the highest you'd want to go. The front a max of 35 or 36mm should be fine...

Ya gotta think that 1mm is also the whole length of the bar not just one part of it so yes it can make a difference. 1mm is about .030 (roughly) and that turns a 350 into a 355, you now need new pistons and rings. If 1mm can add 5cu to an engine imagine how much more surface area you are gaining in a sway bar.

IT will make a difference.
