I'm thinking I should just Replace the Alternator, my Girlfriend's most likely going to use this as a Daily Driver, so I probably shouldn't cheap out, and just Replace things since it's so Old/has so many Miles on it. I'm low on Cash right now, but I'll let everyone know how things go when I finally take it apart.
Thanks a lot for the Responses, and Happy 4th of July to everyone!

If you're buying a more expensive "new" alternator, that's one thing. But some that you buy at parts stores are rebuilt and stated as such. You do realize that a "rebuilt" alternator isn't all new parts inside, don't you? A rebuilt replaces the bearings, brushes, and voltage regulator for the most part. The rest is "reconditioned".

I'm not sure what you're asking.
The transmission can certainly withstand anything your V6 can give it. Right up to the point of where it tires out and dies of natural causes (excessive wear).

I figured that much, but if I were to attempt to Boost it, which is something we're looking into, really wouldn't be so hard, how much power, to the wheels, would the transmission be able to hold before it started to slip?
Probably wouldn't be any time soon, but just curious.
