Sounds like he went out and got himself a blown head gasket and new headers. The question is why? LOL

Start with the easy stuff, fuel filter, air filter, throttle body cleaner, fuel system cleaner for a couple tanks, switch to full synthetic oil (WalMart SuperTech brand if fine and inexpensive)

If there's a check engine light, get it scanned for some hints...

But the blown gasket -- there's your first hint... ;-)

Try some air plane fuel, its all the latest rage. It makes your car fly.

Anyways, is your car strugling for power? Start (like already said) with your fuel management system. How many miles are on it? Pluged CAT will car poor mileage along with a fire. Is your car misfiring? That will kill MPG.When was your last tune up? Your not getting poor gas mileage, you are getting no gas mileage. How does your exhaust smell? If you stand behind it, does it burn your eyes? If so, you air/fuel mixture is to blame. If you are gettting a rotten egg smell, its a pluged fuel filter or CAT. I hope this helps. Obviously you are burning straight gas, so after you find your problem, your gonna need to change your spark plugs, if they arnt fouled by now.
