oh and yes, you need the "slow" "tgs" and the "ABH" switch with the gutted cat 3.8s. the ABH is anti-black-hole, which really helps, especially if you have the black hole effect from stickers too. it isnt just for cat's black hole. now. the window tint is a whole nother story...

V8 drivers don't push their cars as hard as the V6 drivers, so they don't need SGS or TGS. LOL Also interesting, is that V8 Firebirds came with a button to make the 1 to 2 shift softer or harder, but the Camaros did not have one, and the factory set the 1 to 2 shift to be hard at all times.
