what does this sound like to you>>checking my fuel pressure today gauge reads 41 idiling and was gonna check regulator according to what i've been told just unplug vacuum hose at regulator and gauge should increase,,well my car dies,,whats going on here,,could this be why i have a stubbling problem ?

 

Probably the regulator is bad, but it would help if we knew the engine & year.
