I just got a 95 3.4V6 convertible on Jan 3rd. The only thing I had done was get a new battery since it was sitting for 4 months. It was running fine no issues till a few days ago. Sunday the car wouldn't start on the first try anymore, would take a 2 or 3 with hitting the gas. When the engine is cold it does a lunging forward when at a stop. After its warmed up the lunging stops. The rpms fluctuate but just a lil bit at idle. I did have the battery off over night and I noticed it did not have a MAF sensor. Could a tune been lost or what?

 

The battery has been on since Saturday, Friday was when it was left off. Since Sunday it's been running like this. The previous owner had done a new engine replacement with all the paperwork to show. I know these cars won' run good without the maf sensor but where it' suppose to be there's nothing.
