Performance problem
I have been having an issue with my 99 camaro V6 and im not exactly sure what it is. I know for a fact that i am having an issue with a lifter but i have been told oil treatment will take care of that.
The problem lies in the throttle i think. When i simply just drive the car, it does fine, as soon as i push the pedal down more than half way or floored, i can feel that car "rumble" or "shake" a little and it seems to bog down and lose power. Is this my fuel pump or throttle body, or what? This car is my daily driver and i need to get it fixed fast.
I just got it from the shop and had the plugs and fuel filter changed thinking i might have a clogged fuel filter but it didn't help the problem. Thanks for the help in advance.

ok, so it a few people said its likely a coil going bad. Does this sound like it could be it.It does this at low speeds as well as high speeds so i dont think it would be the fuel pump bc usually the pump will start to act up at the top end, not the case here. Although not ruling out the pump, a coil is quit a bit cheaper to replace. Any thoughts?

Bad coil will normally set a code.
Your fuel pump theory is correct IF the pump failer is showing up as a Volume issue. If the issue is pressure and the volume is fine then it would show up acrossed all RPMs.
Are you really going to throw parts at it? You should do a fuel pressure test. An exhaust back pressure test. A seal test on your EGR valve. You can also check your coils by seeing it they will fire two ignition testers at the same time.
