Default OBX headers. anyone have or heard of them???

Hey everyone, as part of my upgrades im getting headers ofcourse, at first I was going with the pacesetters for my 3.8 v6 1998. but my dad found a pair of OBX SS 304 headers for my car. Has anyone heard anything about these? maybe someone has them? I personally have never even heard of them until now but they look pretty nice and seeing the obx website they look like they make some good stuff. so if anyone has any info or whether the pacesetters are better or not let me know. thanks

That looks suspiciously like a picture of headers for a front wheel drive car...

[After looking at the site] It looks like they're just a re-seller/warehousing joint. I would try to find out who is making their stuff for them before dropping a chunk of change on what could be dud parts. People on here seem to be pretty satisfied with the pacesetters, and they seem to be a decent investment.

Bottom line, go with the proven product.

They are cheaply made and people occasionally have troubles from them. I think Gorn has a set on his 3800 so ask him.

I thought they where pretty good. The main flange is about 3/8 thick. I had some issues with the egr mount but using a mount from a 02 motor fixed that. I also have an issue with the hardware they supplied. The bolts where not stainless and the bolts that connected the header to the y pipe where no where near long enough. I think I ended up buying stainless bolts 2" longer then the ones supplied.

They have been on the car for over a year. They turned a nice gold color. Over all I like them. I get a lot of comments on how well the car sounds with a flowmaster Cat back. It does sound raspy over 3000 RPM if it is not under load.

Look more like mids to me. Shorties are meant to come out in stock location. Those do not.

I was told they are just about the same as the pacesetters.
