Default Foggy Headlights

I used the Search to find out what I can do about my foggy headlight.. I wanted to know how to go about using the toothpaste as a solution?

I don't think toothpaste worked on a haze like that. I know a lot of auto parts store sell kits for removing the haze. Some kits are a sanding kit where you progressively move to finer paper, and other are a wax that you polish them with.
