Default Now it hesitates.....

Ok here is the story. One day my Camaro began to sputter pretty bad soI changed the oil, now thats gone. But another problem arised, now it hesitates whenI accelerate and it shakes like an old women with down syndrome when I hold it at 2500 or more rpms, wheres the fun in that.I have reason to believe that the knock sensor is bad. Now normally i would take the time to look in my Hanes manual but it was made by the retards that work there. This gave me a question...How the hell do I check my knock sensor?I have already taken out my computer and I want to fix her but I don't know how to make sure she won't its the knock sensor. Please help I want my Camaro back.
Thanks for any help.

Its a 1995 and I haven't done a tune up yet. I have only done maintenance things like oil changes and putting in new spark plugs.

Does not sound like a knock sensor problem. Is the service lite lit? Change the plugs & wires before driving yourself nuts. Get the PCM scanned.

I tried to scan it but the scanner doesnt work. For some reason it has a OBD 2 socket with 1 program and I tried to have Advanced Auto do it but it didn't work, and the spark plugs are just a year old and are Bosch Platinums.

You need an OBD-I capable scanner with the right adapter cable -- like the Autoxray 6000:

Works fine on my '95 3.4L and '01 SS

Ok now it just stopped doing it. Today I started driving around and it magically disappeared. And about the scanner is there a different way then spending 700 dollars on a scanner ill use only once?

Get a better price on eBay and split the cost w/family -- it will do almost all cars...

A loose oil cap or the dip stick not fully insertedwill cause a few hassles. Also, did you over fill it byany chance?

The Auto X-ray 4000 does everything I need to do and can be had for $180 on line. Just search their dealers. Use it once? HA!!! You'll probably be reaching for that thing at least once a month once you find out all it can do.

I think it is a sensor or something but no it isn't overfilled.
