Notice SOP Alum. Driveshaft upgrade difference?

I have a little bit around 3200 RPMs when I'm giving it hell. But it just kinda sounds and feels like it's revving with my exhaust. In normal driving, I have never noticed a difference.
And even accounting for the stationary mount, it's not gonna be 15 lbs worth of weight. You're still losing a good bit of mass(Probably 15 pounds?) by going to the aluminum DS.

The aluminum drive shaft does not add any power, but being lighter it takes less power to spin it up so it should help acceleration. The fatter the rear end ratio the more noticeable the effect. However, once it reaches a steady speed the power at the rear wheels will be the same. Get a similar effect by going to an aluminum flywheel.

How come people never believe me when I say that stuff? And when I do, they don't understand it... WTF man lol

I always wondered why GM went through all that complication. Good to know.
