sup ya Im new here and i dont have a camaro right now but well try to get one in 2 weeks but dont know which 1 to get i really want a SS but thats 2much money so I was goin with a V8 but then some1 told me dont get it becuz if you ar not goin to race dont get it so that leave me with a V6 and also some1 told me that the car is slow. I dont want o slow car Im not goin to race mybe once or twice this is makein me crazy so can ya help me thanks alot

hey man I have 2002 Camaro V6 and its not slow, but its not a V8 either, My brother has a 1997 formula, and the formula is definatly faster but im sure the V6 should have enough pep for you, and if you wanna race by an old chevy... I have 73 C10 with a 383 and it is so much easier to work on, I can pull the motor tranny andything and fix/rebuild , but when you get into computers, I dont evn know were to start... good luck on getting a camaro dude, youll love it wether a z28 or a V6...

 

THANKS AOLT AIRCHEVY02 I KNOW A V6 GOES ABOUT 125 RIGHT BUT I LIVE IN LA AND EVERYBODY GOT A MARO AND WHEN THEY SEE ONE THEY GET NEXT TO U AND THEY BE LIKE LINE IT UP AND I AINT NO PUNK SO I WELL GAVE IT TO THEM BUT IF I GET A 6 WOULD I GET BET ANYWAYS MOST PEOPLE HAVES 8 OUT HERE WHAT DO U SAY AIRCHEVY OR ANYBODY ELSE

 

the V6 is deffinitely not a slow car. ive got a 94 standard v6 camaro and i jus rebuilt the motor in it and keeps up with most of the V8's around my area. you can make them jus as fast with some good choices of mods.
