Default Need help finding part

Hi guys,

I have two Camaro's, a 95 and a 97, both V6. The refrigerant line from my drier to the radiator developed a leak last year thanks to my battery leaking acid. I finally decided to replace it, and a friend of mine is skilled in AC work.

The problem is, I can't find the part to replace it! O'REilly, AutoZone, etc. -- nobody seems to have anything called a Refrigerant Line. Even GM Parts Direct didn't have any clue.

Can someone point me to a place that sells these or am I looking at hunting around junkyards?

If you want to see a picture of it (excuse the yellow goop on it) you can browse on over to http://www.robertstinnett.com/pics/ac_pipe.jpg

Thanks,
Robert

Never underestimate the power of a good Google search. This is what I unearthed:

The tube you are looking for will fit both '95 and '97 year model F body vehicles (that's what I've been able to deduce). I'd recommend you swap the test ports and schrader valves to be on the safe side. GM part no. 10269581. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com has the part available so search for it using the part number search function. Shipping included, it will cost you $31.21.

This diagram should help with any other concerns:

Thanks man for your research! I got very lucky today, and not only did I pick up a "new to me" set of seats for my 95 that DESPERATELY needed them (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...29955&rd=1) but the dude selling them lives 2 hours from me and has my EXACT car and is parting it out. So he has the tube I need, plus picking up a new dash for it!

One happy camper... my 95 was my first Camaro I ever bought and I've had it for years, and it will be good to get it shining back up again.
