ok so basically i bought a 3.4 and the guy really did a number on it, all of the vacuum lines on top of the intake manifold were misplaced so i had to buy new ones. i got them in through mail today everything is correct i followed the diagram however i cant figure out where this last line connects to here is the line Attachment 18214
it is connected to the brake booster valve on the diagram here it says to connect it to acsry Attachment 18215 but what is acsry?? i dont know where or what that is ? i have no loose lines i can connect it to? right now i have the line shut with a screw so no air is coming out but am i suposed to connect it to something ? or just leave it like that . |
acsry is your heater box thats what controls the blend door. as for the line with a bolt in it that defiantly isnt right, i can tell that its near the fuel lines but cant quite remember where it would go (i havent had a 3.4 in like 2 years) it looks like a pcv valve but thats not where the pcv goes.

no there should be a line somewhere in that area (unless it was broken or removed) again its in a loom so it may be hiding ;)
I think the previous owner removed it, i will check it out once im off work and update on progress.....thank you for the help
nope, still nothing i checked very well and could not find any vacuum line to connect it to
never mind found it ! it was exactly where you said it would be, "in a loom of wires" i was mad and ripped open a small piece of the loom and their you have it a small vacuum line! thank you for the help
