Im looking to buy a 4th gen camaro from someone preferably in the North East. i don't care about the body condition or if the frame is bent or not. i have a Camaro project car and im swapping the transmission and other parts. if you or someone you know has one or you know where to find one (except junk yards. the closest one to me is an hr and a half away) id appreciate the reply

Craigs list is a great place to find doner cars. The T5 is pretty standard even back in the 3rd gens but you want the doner car to be the same engine type as yours. 3.4 and 3.8's have different bell housing. I have seen V6's with blown headgaskets sell for $600 Thats not to bad concidering you can get 250 for a scrap car.

Are you sure this will be worth it? is your tranny shot? As a general rule Automatics are worth more the standards. You could just sell your car and buy one with less miles No cost and no work, Job done.

 

Theirs nothing wrong with that auto tranny id rather drive a standard. i think their more fun. and ive checked craigs list and they have nothing. Maybe they will soon...i hope lol
