camarov6.com...go there, you can make it fast, but it will be a lot of $$$ and work, buying a v8 car would be more practical...although the 3800 cars give you 40hp more than the 3.4 so they're not that bad of a start either.

headers ($200+) 5-10hp
exhaust: hi-flow cat ($100), catback ($300+), and hi flow muffler ($100) 10 hp
zzperformance underdrive pulley ($60) 1 or 2 hp
msd coilpacks & wires ($150) 1 or 2 hp
jet chip ($200+) 10 or so hp

if it was a 3.8, you would def. beat the stang...but w/ the 3.4 don't get your hopes up

btw, the CAI is good for 10hp, but not to the wheels

So im looking at least a +30hp increase with the CAI, Headers, and Exhaust. I really think upgrading to a Z28 would be more practical especially since I can put mods on it. At least a 3.8L. Thanks for all the info.

yea prob. 30 hp, but not 30 rwhp, it's not that easy. It sucks...I always take what hp I think I'm getting and divide it by 2
also your car comes with 160hp...but it probably has 140 or so rwhp depending on if its a A4 or T5

how bad are you losing? you might take the stang with those mods, but i wouldn't put that much money into a 3.4
