ok as some have read in my last thread, i have a 97 sixer....and i replaced the exhaust from the cat back...i cleaned the throttle body (which was literally pitch black with gunk)...now im getting more codes...Po102, Po122, Po300, Po420, P1406..the guys at autozone sounded like they didnt know what they were talking about so im coming to you guys agains....help please

 

First one is MAF low frequency, second is TPS low voltage, the third is a random misfire, fourth is the cat efficiency code, last is the EGR. The car run like crap? Did you remove the throttle body from the car when you cleaned it? If you did, did you plug everything back in?

 

the car runs fine just lacking some power, prolly due to the misfires...i removed the tb from the car and i plugged everything back into the right connectors, but im going to doublecheck to make sure...why would i get the cat efficiency code? i just replaced my cat could that be, or a bad sensor or something

 

Misfires will result in unburned fuel entering the exhaust, and too much of that will tell you your cat is bad. Also, did you use the old throttle body gasket, or a new one?
