mod my car for platinum plugs???

Default mod my car for platinum plugs???

i was reading an artical on here about using platinum plugs in a camaro and they mentioned something about needing to "tip" your ground or something along those lines. what does that mean and what do i need to do? i just spent $30 on some AC rapid fire plugs and now im afraid to put them in, what do i need to do? by the way its a 3.4 v6

if the motors stock you should use ac delco.

right....... like i said im using AC rapid fire plugs, they are like the premium AC delco plugs. but they are platinum

The OEM plug for you car is the AC Delco R43TSK. These are standard untipped plugs. However, the plugs you bought will work OK, but unless both the center and ground electrodes are platinum tipped (little disks the size of a pin head) you are wasting your money. Your car has DIS ignition. Unless both electrodes are tipped, 3 of the plugs will go for 100K miles, while the other 3 will only last 1/3 as many miles.
