Missing Electrical Sensors
 

Whats up fellas (and ladies)

I have a 3.4L V6 sitting on an engine stand in my garage. I yanked it out of a 1994 Camaro with an automatic and I'm planning on putting it in my 1980's S10. Some of the sensors broke in the process of pulling the engine out. Could you help me identify them so that I can get replacements?

These first two are on the passenger side of the engine, directly on the block:

And this last one is on the oil filter mounting on the driver's side of the engine. This is the best photo I have of it unfortunately

The 2nd photo shows only a broken pigtail connector. The sensor is still probably intact.

knock sensor, not sure, oil pressure sensor.

The 2nd one is the low-resolution crankshaft position sensor. It's probably still ok, with a broken connector.

Thanks a bunch guys. For the Crank Position Sensor, I'll just get a new pigtail since I have no reason to believe the sensor is bad. Damn those sensors are expensive.

Also, I saved the wiring harness out of the vehicle. I pulled this with the wiring harness. Any idea what it is? Didn't come in a box, it was just bare as you see it.

That's the theft deterrent module (TDM). It is housed in a plastic case normally. It works with the ignition key to enable the starter and injectors. You may need it for the injectors, or else buy a bypass module to generate the signal to the pcm in order to take it's place. Or program it out of the pcm.
All that module needs is a certain value (VATs) resistor connected in order to work

Thank you Gary. I knew since day one of this project that VATS would be an issue, which is why I saved everything I could on this car.

I'm essentially building a standalone EFI system out of what I saved on the Camaro in the '85 S10 so it can pass smog here in California. If VATS doesn't work properly in the new application, who can flash VATS out of the PCM for me? Or is this something I can do?
