Default low trac?

So lately as I have been slowing down ready to come to a complete stop at a light or stop sign it feels like my brakes are letting go. Besides that feeling(which is scary not knowing whether im going to actually stop or not) i get a low trac light on for a mere second or two. I have no idea what is going on and any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The back breaks could need a rebuild or the front brake pads need to be replaced on it could be a sensor (which isnt likely but possible)

When you says it feels like your brakes are letting go, do you mean the pedal drops an inch or two and you don't slow down well? Thats what is happening with mine. The low trac light also blinks on. I took it in and had them check front and rear brakes, which were fine, then they checked for any codes and came back with nada. The mech said I need to replace my abs control module, but I just don't see that as the problem. It only happens when stopping from slower speeds, but my ABS seems to work fine as far as not locking up from 35+mph to stopping. I am thinking I needto check thewheel sensorsfrom whatI've been able to find. Not sure if it helps but I thought I'd let you know Also, let us know what you find out.

goofy trac lights can be bad brakes. Not sure how the Fbody responds, but my old mustang threw an e-brake light when its brakes were bad. also had tons of fade and mine were so bad that i was wearing on the clips. I replaced pads and rotors.

one thing though, if u do the whole shebang, you will have horrible stopping power for a little bit. It was almost as if I didnt have any braking power at all. People on the forums told me i didnt bleed the lines correctly if you dont remove the caliper (aka, u just compress the piston and dont actually introduce any air to the system) there is absolutely NO need to bleed! what happens is it just takes a bit to get the new rotor and pad to mesh together right. so what u do is drive down ur street to about 20 mph or less and mash the brake. u will travel to a slow stop. then do it again, when it feels right u can increase speed. eventually u will be gripping fine.

Base your opinion off an ABS diagno -- I had one done for about $60, and it said my ABS Motor Pack was bad, I bought and replaced it myself and the problem was fixed -- easy job to do.
