will a 3.8 camaro auto with some minor mods like mine(see below) keep up with a gt mustang auto.
i really dont know and i havent came up to a gt yet.

 

My friend of mine drives a mustang gt manuel and i have a camaro 3.8 auto...i pulled up next to him at a light and gunned it when it went green i beat him off the line mayb because he had to shift or he is just bad at shifting but in the long run by like 3rd gear he pulled ahead of me...i've never lost off the line with my 3.8 yet and i love it


Mods= Magnaflow Dual Cat back, K&N CAI, ECU chip, soon to have pacesetter headers

 

depends on the year of the GT...some are slow as ****

 

my friends dads 01 gt conv. is slow as *****. just by riding in it i know i could take it. its an auto too

 

I'm pretty sure our 3.8's couldn't take the 4.6 GT

 

no chance ... unfortunatly

my girlfriends bro has a 02 GT , he smoked me, was definatly noticably faster =)
i've beat a 94 GT .. but the 5.0 GT's unmodded, suckkk.. imo , the 4.6's have some umpf to them fosho,

on a funny side note... he baught a supercharger before he went back down to florida, i made the comment.. haha its cuz u know the maros down there would own you... he simply smiled and continued to purchase it =)
