Default Just got a 1995 3.4L camaro, some questions

I just got a 1995 3.4L and i was just wondering what the first mods should be to give it a little more power. I know its not gunna be that fast cause its a v6, but i can't just leave it stock. And, what is a good exhaust that will give it more of that v8 rumble. thanks for the comments and help.

Didn't know they even made a 4.3 engine for camaro. I guess you menant a 3.4. A sis will never give you a V8 rumble, especially when you rev it up under load. But you can get a deeper sound depending on what exhaust you stick on it. What sounds good is a matter of opinion. There are several web sites that give sound clips on different mufflers.

If you want to make more power, read the stickys on top of this section.

Do you want a Flowmaster muffler w/ Dual Exhaust outlets?

Let me know...not a fan of loudmouths on V6's...

i own a 95 v6 camaro and i bought the flowmaster cat back exhaust system for it, and it sounds mint, i have had people ask me if its a V8 and when i tell them no, their jaws drop to the ground, but def. go with the Flowmaster dual outlet chrome tipped exhaust it sounds great.

everyone thinks mine's a v-8 when they hear it. the only time you can tell it's a 6 is when the rpm's are descending from about 6-5 grand, there's a small rattle i need to fix.it's all a matter of opinion however. i like the sound of mine, even if everyone hates it....which they don't.

I wouldn't say 'easy' but the right Cam, Heads, fuel, full bolt ons and you can probably take a stock LT1

Add some nitrous just to make sure

Don't waste your money man. You could drop tons to get it to run like a v8 but it never will do that.. my experiences taught me that its better to start saving now, and just get a V8 in 2009.. with a 95 (and assuming fairly high milage) you are gonna have your work cut out for you just maintaining the car... I spend a good 300-400$ every few months just keeping my 95 running well. I know this isnt what you want to hear, but a V6 is a V6... save up and get a V8.

This was the advice my dad gave me when I got mine, I didnt listen, put anexhaust and air intake on her and yeah she sounds like a V8... but when I hear a SS or Z28 drive by me... well its just not the same. Save up and get the 8. With the 3.4 you will fall in love with Camaros and that is enough... I think everyone in this forum will agree.. we wish we had V8's and the next Camaros we get will indeed by that.
