Default JET Power Shift?

I really don't like how the gears run in my 2001 3.8l and wanted to switch em up. I saw this JET power shift thing. Is this a good option? Could it damage my tranny at all? Would I be better off getting a PCM?

Well a shift kit doesn't change the gears... What exactly do you not like?

judging by the lack of an answer i dont think this guy knows what hes talking about but if you want speed buy an lt1 if you want better acceleration change out your rear end dont mess with the trans unless your putting a 6 speed in these trannys arnt designed for much more power

Indeed. If he has an auto, he's fine. The manual with the correct maintenance and a decent clutch is good to about 280-300 hp. Don't say it isn't because the Mustangs and 80s Camaros use the T5s with no problems. It's a world class transmission with the right attention.
