Interior LED Project

Interior LED Project
So I was a little hesitant to try putting in LED's because I've never tried any interior project before. I wanted to put blue's behind my gauge cluster and HVAC and shifter and whites in the doors. I havent gotten to the cargo light yet because I'm not sure how to make the 24 LED's I have on a circuit board all-ready to go fit. Same with the map lights, I'm not sure what type of LED's to use. Let me know if you have a solution.
Once I got started I realized that it wasn't that bad. So I got a little creative. I didn't like the look of the door lights with the LED's so I dremmelled out a new hole. It looks pretty cool at night.
Here's the picture trail.
I need to fix the angle of them though because they shine right in my face and didn't notice it until night.
I wish my head unit matched up...

Awesome, I had a similar idea for my door, too. How difficult was it to change the bulbs (and how many does it take?) in the HVAC? I want to convert that to LED eventually.

changing the bulbs in the HVAC were the easiest. All you do is pull of the trim surrounding everything on the console and then its just 2 7mm screws holding the hvac controls on. You can just pull it back a little because the bulbs are right on top in the back. Theres 2 of em and their type #74's.

For the dash lights, the bulbs are 194 and i believe they have harnesses if i remember correctly. For your map and dome lights, you will need 212-2. For your map and dome lights, it's best to get a festoon adapter that replaces your current bulbs and wire it up to an LED board. Have you considered LED strip lighting for the foot wells? I did that to my camaro and wired it up with my courtesy lights so it gives a nice ambient look when you open the doors. Hope that helps!

I do currently have LED bars in the foot wells in the front and under the front seats in the back. I have them tapped into the cig lighter. It came with a remote, but I bought a switch plate that I'm going to rewire it into so i can have it on an on/off rocker. I'm working on some other LED ideas (I have a bunch of bulbs and resistors, just have to wire them all up). How did you go about wiring the one in your door?
