Hey
i drive a 3.4L,95 camaro which has 135000 miles on it,overall the car runs fine, gives me close to 23 on freeway and 18-20 under normal city driving but my EGR solenoid is bad so i get a bit les gas mileage, normally they give 23-25 under normal city driving.i shoudl say say these cars need a bit of maintenance, parts are a bit expensive but all these comes with a car like camaro.if i were to buy another car it would again be a camaro,i love the feel of dis car, drives perfect after all its a chicks magnet .
enjoy

I've got a 99 3.8 V6. I'm about to hit 90,000 miles and I get 30mpg on the highway, I haven't checked what I get around town. They have their problems like any other car. One thing that I have heard from other 98-02 V6 Camaro owners and that happens to me is because of the way the engine is designed it traps a lot of heat around the spark plugs causing either them or a wire to go bad, and it is not fun trying to change the spark plugs on these things. I usually have to change them every 6-8 months. I have recently heard about some spark plug wire boot protectors to insulate them from the heat, guess I'll have to try them out next time it happens. Other than that in the 4 years I have had mine I have had to replace the EGR valve, a pulley, a coil pack, and my gas gauge just went out on me. From a performance standpoint your best bet is to go with the 3.8 V6 over the 3.4. I don't expect mine to last over 150,000 miles since I drive mine pretty hard but if you keep out of the gas most of the time they can deffinately last that long and then some, there are a few members around here that have that many miles on theirs and say they still run great. You can easily fit two 12in subs in the hatch, but if you get t-tops they have a storage base in the hatch for them to be secured when they are off, so you would have to find another place to store them if you put a box in there. I have 2 15in subs in the hatch and since nobody rides in my backseat I just put the t-tops back there. If you want to see some pics of my setup pm me. Hope this helps ya and welcome to the forum.

ive got a 94 3.4L camaro. ive had it for a little over a year now. the miles jus rolled over to 150K. i went ahead and rebuilt the motor though. the previous owner didnt take care of it. it gets about 18-19 mpg in the city. im not to sure what the hwy is on it though. i cant tell you how they drive during the winter. it never snows here, it jus gets a little chilly here. its easy to put a system in these things. ive got 6 12" subs and a 4000watt amp pushing them. parts arent cheap but they're not expensive either though. plus all the gurlz like em'.

i have a 96 camaro 3.8l with 84,000 miles it great runs strong all the time, reguar maintenance like everyother car, its a good car to have unless your young and not responsible. it could be difficult for you to drive RWD in the winter causing you to spin out. just take it easy. overall a nice car to have, ive seen a few camaro around 3,500-4,500$ check other forums classifieds. good luck

i've got a 94 3.4 5-speed with 186,600 miles runs great still. needs some front suspension work (bushing all that) but it runs great. There really isn't too many camaros that do well in the snow just put some bags of mortons salt in the back of the hatch and you'll be fine as long as you don't give it a lot of gas when you take off. V6's usualy go for about 2500-3000 for a 93-97 I wouldnt pay much more than that for a v6. and you can buy a custom sub box for your hatchback camaro for like 65 bucks.I think 2 12's will fit

yes and please don't act like some people (not saying you will but) Those who think oh it's a camaro it's meant to do burnouts like crazy, its meant to be driven hard. it's not. not saying you have to baby it all the time either. Just find a nice in between
