i need help on finding a good, solid exhaust system to put on my 3.8, i would like a dual exhaust with dual tips. hopefully some1 has some good suggestions

 

im not sure where you live but if you have an muffler shop or a performance shop then go there and see if they have magnaflow exhaust systems. they are really good. it shouldnt be that expensive either. i live in little rock, ar and it only cost me like $200 to get a full exhaust system installed w/ chrome tips. and a lot of people i have talked to about it say that magnaflow is a really good brand and i like it so thats my advise. flowmaster is ok too but it makes a v6 sound weird, but it still works the same.

i have a 96 3.8L

i want a nice sound out of it too, its almost silent as of now, its completely stock.

 

may i suggest also magnflow, i know this guy with a 2001 3.8 and he got the flowmaster's, it sounds like garbage, and it backfires like crazy when he shifts, he put Z28 tags on it too, i asked him why and he says in his bosnian accent "because it looks nice", but anyway i and a few of my F-body friends have magnaflow and it sounds great, not annoying and real aggresive.

 

I have a flowmaster cat back system with dual outlets. It sounds good and looks kickass.

 

I just got my 81 with a v6 and it has a new dual exhaust with tips, I can find out where they got it done. I am thinking of taking out the v6 and putting in a v8 do you know if there is a kit i can use to save the ac?

 

ive heard both the magnaflow and the flowmaster in action so far and i must say im more impressed with the magnaflow as of right now so i think thats def what im gonna go with
