I have a 01 V6 and I just ordered some pacesetter headers. Now I'm looking for a high flow cat...

So... when I went to a local exhaust shop... he told me that I needed a cat that was made for California emissions (I'm in Arizona) He said that after he looked under the hood at one of those stickers. He said that since the car is made to comply with their emission laws... I need to get a cat that is made for Cali emissions. Is that true?

If not... I'm just looking for any high flow cat that will work with my car.

Like I said... I'm getting those headers... and then I'm going to have 2.5 inch pipes after the cat. So when I get the cat... what should the inlet and outlet diameter be?

If I sound like I'm wrong with any of this please let me know and give me some input.

You need to comply with whatever state's laws are that you reside in and will have the car tested in for emissions...

I would go with the FFF Long Tube Headers, if I were you...

Yea I just read about those recently. I already bought the other ones... and I'm assuming those are out of my price range. Do you know how much they cost?
