about 210... MAF and thermo dont really add horse, they're supporting mods, and the stock v6 exhaust isnt restrictive enough to make much of a difference, except awesome sound. i would add a CAI to that list too FYI, mite make 220 crank with everything.

I dont know much about camaros atm im new but the 3.8L comes 200hp stock and with the slp cold air intake and headers seems like it would be more than a 10hp add on

I'd say 225 - 230, although I have yet to do any of that, and you may call it wishfull thinking.

Not restrictive? Like hell. I changed the stock exhaust on my 99 V6 to a dual exhuast set up. Nothing special, just a replacement muffler and dual tail pipes. It was like letting a priest run wild at a boy scout meeting. The difference was quite noticable. Besides the fact that the stock pips are 2 1/4" when they should be 2 1/2" which also will make a difference.

20HP is overrated. and i think a CAI would work better. even if it add as much as they say, for one they look better. headers and exhaust wont do much, until you add other stuff(cam or w/e) but dont get me wrong, it's all good to do, doesnt add as much as people would like to think tho.

Definitely do the CAI first, very easy and quick to do. The MAF upgrade could help with more CFMs, but perhaps not needed on a 3.8 w/out more serious mods. You want to look at smoothing the air input out into the engine -- get the air in and out more efficiently -- that is the first thing to focus on.

I added the SLP CAI to my '95 3.4L, and the improvement was modest, but combining that with headers, cat-back, removed or high-flow cat, and you can maybe get 30-35 more HP, depending on other mods and rpms... But best bet is to do it but have it dyno'd before and after, and report back here, then we can have a better measurement. Would be nice to have a database with the dyno results and modifications both before and after!!

The proof is in the dyno-test! ;-)

Adding this CAI in addition to an SLP lid and bellows made a pretty noticeable difference on my '01 LS1:

Anyone have a clue?
exhuast: ~ 11 RWHP
Headers: ~ 15 RWHP
MAF: ~5HP?
Thermostat: 0
Intake: 5-10 HP (becuase you have the 93-97 intake set up, you would gain more HP from a intake swap than a 98-02 car would. They come stock with great intakes.)

So about 210 RWHP or about 250 BHP. Your torque gains would be even more impressive.
Stock numbers: 169 RWHP & 200 BHP.

While you at it, also pick up an aluminum driveshaft. You can get them for about $150 on ebay. From any 93-02 F-body will fit your car. This will send more power to the wheels. You might also want to look into a cam shaft and maybe a small shot of nitrous. Then you could be running in the 12s.
