Like a V8 or a Vette engine? How much work? How much money? What kind of engine would I want to go with? Etc...

yea really... this has been posted about a hundred time, and i'm sure that isnt an undersstatement. IT'S EXTREMELY DIFFICUTL, have you never looked under the hood. If you have to ask if it would be hard, you probably dont have the skill to do it. NO offence. i thought about it too, but then came to my sences and realized i have neither the time nor the money or resources. MOst ppl dont with a camaro. It will be easier, cheaper, and faster to go buy a v8 and build that engine up then switch one into a v6. Sorry to burst ur bubble but it's the truth! Buy a v8. This is coming from a guy with a v6, so... it means something

I suppose I could do that...I dunno. Thing is I just wanted to know for future reference. I knew it would be hard(duh)and everything I pretty much just wanted to know how big a hit it will make on my finances. By the time I can afford to do it with insurance and everything I will have put a lot of money into this Camaro cosmetically and I'd rather just engine swap her than get a new one(that is if I can save any money at all that way)
