How hard to replace power window motor in 96 Camaro
I have a 96 Camaro with power windows. The drivers side is not working. Bought a new power window switch. The only window working is the passenger side. Checked the fuse. Fuse good. The window motor has been replaced before on the drivers side. The drivers side window will not go up or down. Need help. Thanks, gearyr.

its very easy man, buy a new motor of ebay, then do a search on this site, you have to drill holes through the inside door skin in order to drill out the rivets holding the motor on. then the new motor has small bolts, just find the right installation instructions, very simple fix.

You may not have to drill the rivets, I replaced both of them. On one window the motor was held in by nuts already. But on the other it was riveted. One word of advice, be sure you are drilling the rivets that hold the motor and not the bracket mechanism.

Here's a link I used when I changed mine. Very easy. Pull your door speaker to make things more accessible behind the door skin.
