my maro says "CAMARO RS" on the title, but has no emblems or RS stickers....How can i figure this out. (has a 3800 II)

 

Visit www.compnine.com and have your VIN checked. You can get a list of your RPO codes and there will be one that states RS apearance package. There may also be a code that states 30th annaversary package as well. If so you will have the 30 logo in the seat backs.

Your car also doesn't have the factory RS ground FX. If your car truly is an RS, someone sure went through a bit of work to purposely de-RS the appearance features.

 

My friend's car was ordered with the RS package but with ground effects delete. It has the RPO code and all other RS options but no GFX.

^ Yeah, I spose if all he wanted was the wheels and upgraded suspension.
But the ground effects was the major feature of the package, imo.

 

When he bought the car the order sheed was in the glove box. It had a special instruction for GFX delete. I guess the first owner didnt like the wing... or something else.

NP. I have been looking for a 30th annaversary car for a while. I want a RS version if I can but any of the V6's with T-tops will be fine. Now I just need a couple grand and I will go hunting.

yeah gotta love those t-tops, would you happen to know where I could get a inexpensive body kit? I've been looking online, but the seem very expensive.
