high idle

Default high idle

i have a 93 3.4 and i have a high idle problem about 2000rpms and it s all the time and i have replace the iac and the tps and cleaned the trottle body what else could there be? and can loose injectors cause the vacum leak

Have you checked the PCV valve and your vacuum hoses??

yes like 10 times and i also replaced the pcv valve and the groment

does anyone know if loose injectors can cause a high idle

test your temp sensor on the front of the motor by the thermostat. if its seening a cold motor it will up the idle.

Yes, along with poor running. Also check all throttle cables, including TV cable, and Cruise Control cable. Make sure the throttle valve fully closes and that stop screw was not maladjusted. Also, brake boster cam be a source of major vacuum leaks.

Do the propane test. Ive never done it but heard it finds vac. leaks.....

Starter fluid is a bit easier heh. Spray starting fluid over each vacuum hose opening and if the engine surges, you've found your leak

yup thats what i heard. just dont do it on a hot engine ya know? BOOOM!
