Default high beams

i have a 94 camaro. and the high beams just dont work at all. i was told to check the fuse but the funny thing is i cant find the fuse at all! ive looked at the fuse boxes and none of em have a highbeam fuse. i even looked through the chiltons manual and cant find out where it is. can somebody please help me? cant get my safety check without the high beams working.

try under the steering wheel on the left hand side, should be a white wire or something.

Does the blue high beam indicator come on when you turn your brights on?

Probably cause it is. Has it always done this, or did it just happen?

There are no headlamp fuses, but there is a circuit breaker built in into the headlight switch. Low beam is fed directly by the headlight switch. Power for the high beams also comes from the headlight switch, but then it goes to the dimmer switch and then to the lamps. Check the dimmer switch.

Did you check for power to the switch, and for power leaving the switch? This is the dimmer switch for the headlights, not the dimmer switch for the dash lights.
