It will sound better with a bigger cam.and headers...Usually when you do headers a cat-back system follows. Magnaflow has a great deal on cat-back systems for the 3.4. You should get at least 25hp-30hp with a cam-headers-and exhaust system..some..plus u mentioned you have a cold air intake...

Default RE: headers

The headers are not that bad to install..The cam will require the intake and the rest of the top of the Engine to be removed the water pump and timing chain will need to be removed also ..Please note that when you do a cam change you should change the cam bearings ( they can't be changed with the Engine in the car.) Also you should chnage the Lifters also (Cam and Lifters do come as Kits) Summit Racing Best Price..

Good Luck

Default RE: headers

you can do the headers yourself...as for the cam you might be in over your head and it will be lots of work...

don't get your hopes up for 30hp...by the time all that gets down to the wheels you loose lots of hp depending on what tranny you have

you will notice a difference if you get a cam in there, and a mild difference with the headers
