head bolts
 

doing a head gasket here on a 94 3.4l everything going smooth without inccicdent then after i install the head and torque to spec the far left torx bolt on the head wont line up. the right one went in smooth and the headbolts all did as well the threads were fine when i pulled it but from what i can see it looks like the hole might be off 1/1000000000000000000 of an inch. so am i safe to forget it or is there a more serious problem? i dont see how it could be off if everything else lined up.

p.s. bolt threads are clean and head is not warped.

did you already torque down all the other bolts??? if you did loosen them up and get all of the bolts started and everything should line up just fine. But you can't tighten all of them and then have the last one line up it just doesn't work.

all of em are tight. the bolt iam refering to is not a head bolt but a torx thats on the front of the acc bracket it threads through the front of the head but is not there to seal anything its just a support. i tried geting the same one when i hand tightened all the head bolts and the right torx but it wouldnt line up so i figured the head needed to be lower i.e. tightened.
