RE: government chip!!!!
I think you mean governor. If I'm right are you talking about the thing that keeps you car from going above 110 or some speed like that. If you are it isn't a chip it is programmed into your PCM. To remove it you have to buy a handheld tuner and get rid of it that way or take it to a dyno and get it dyno tuned. Hope this helps.

It's a governor. Not a chip. It's built into the PCM. You need a tune to remove it. Or you can take all the speed sensors off your car, and it will not be there... But you wouldn't be able to see whether or not you got past OMG 118 mph. Why in the world you need to go faster thanthat, is beyond me.

There is NO CHIP to go into that car if you were to get a handheld tuner I got mine online try froogle its google shopping it works. The tuner plugs in under the dash on the driver side if you stick your head under the steering wheel and look down on the right side its a "black little box" it goes there plug it in tune it then install tune unplug and that is it.

Come to think of it, I don't think they make a programmer for your car. Only one I could thinkof was Hypertech, and they on make it for '00+ Camaro. To get a tune you need to either, go to a dyno shop, go to www.hptuners.com, www.pcmforless.com. Best bet, would be the last one I mentioned. Cheap and I've heard nothing but good about them.
